The Cyprus Review invites submissions for the Special Section of its upcoming 2018 issue on: Cyprus and Britain after 1960.

The 2018 issue of The Cyprus Review will include a special section on Cyprus and Britain after 1960. It intends to serve as a forum where original scientific research is presented on various aspects of this important topic from a multiplicity of disciplinary approaches. 

• Authors should consult the journal’s guidelines for submission, which can be found at: http://cyprusreview.org/index.php/cr/information/authors
• The Cyprus Review is available at: http://cyprusreview.org
• For specific academic enquiries about the special section, please contact us via email at [email protected]
• Interested scholars should submit their papers online by the final submission deadline of 15 May 2018
• Submissions should clearly indicate the Special Section on “Cyprus and Britain after 1960”.

In addition to the Special Section, the 2018 issue of The Cyprus Review will also contain its standard features of Articles, Essays and Book Reviews, as well as a guest edited section on the Cypriot Doctrine of Necessity. Submissions in the fields of interest of The Cyprus Review are always welcome.

Το επιστημονικό περιοδικό The Cyprus Review προκηρύσσει, όπως κάθε έτος, τα Ετήσια Βραβεία Βιβλίου (CRABA 2023) και καλεί σε υποβολή υποψηφιοτήτων στα ακόλουθα πεδία: (Ι) Ιστορία και Πολιτικές Επιστήμες, (ΙΙ) Νομική Επιστήμη και (ΙΙΙ) Κοινωνικές Επιστήμες. Γίνονται δεκτές υποψηφιότητες που αφορούν σε αγγλόγλωσσα ή ελληνόγλωσσα βιβλία, που εκδόθηκαν εντός του 2022 και  έχουν ως αντικείμενο την Κύπρο. Υποψηφιότητες μπορούν να υποβληθούν από τους ίδιους τους συγγραφείς, τους εκδότες ή και από τρίτα πρόσωπα.

The scientific journal The Cyprus Review hereby issues a Call for Nominations for its Annual Book Awards (CRABA 2023) and invites nominations in the following fields: (I) History and Political Science, (II) Law, and (III) Social Sciences. We accept nominations regarding books published during 2022, either in Greek or in English, which have Cyprus as their subject matter. Nominations may be submitted by the authors, publishers, or third parties.

Mr Petros Petrikkos has joined the Cyprus Review Editorial Team as the new Publications Editor. Petros is currently a PhD Candidate in International Relations and European Studies at the Department of Politics and Governance, School of Law, University of Nicosia.
