The Cyprus Review First Annual Book Awards, Call for Nominations in the fields of I. History and Political Science, II. Social Sciences,  and III. Law [Extended Deadline: 31 July 2020]

The Editorial Team of the leading Cyprological Journal The Cyprus Review announces the Call for Nominations for its First Annual Book Awards. In line with the Review’s thematic orientation, the Awards will be conferred to outstanding books in the fields of: I. History and Political Science, II. Social Sciences, and III. Law. Nominations may be submitted from either the authors themselves, or third parties (publishers or any other person supporting the nomination).

Πρώτα Ετήσια Βραβεία Βιβλίου του The Cyprus Review, Πρόσκληση για υποβολή υποψηφιοτήτων στα πεδία: I. Ιστορίας και Πολιτικών Επιστημών, II. Κοινωνικών Επιστημών και II. Νομικής [Παράταση Προθεσμίας: 31η Ιουλίου 2020]

Η Συντακτική Ομάδα του κορυφαίου κυπρολογικού περιοδικού The Cyprus Review ανακοινώνει την πρόσκληση υποψηφιοτήτων για τα Πρώτα Ετήσια Βραβεία Βιβλίου (First Annual Book Awards). Σε αρμονία με τα θεματικά πεδία του περιοδικού, τα βραβεία θα απονεμηθούν στις ακόλουθες κατηγορίες: Ι. Ιστορία και Πολιτικές Επιστήμες, ΙΙ. Κοινωνικές Επιστήμες και ΙΙΙ. Νομική. Υποψηφιότητες μπορούν να υποβληθούν είτε από τους ίδιους τους συγγραφείς, είτε από τρίτα πρόσωπα (εκδοτικούς οίκους ή άλλους προτείνοντες).

Call for Papers The Cyprus Review (2021 Special Issue) COVID-19 in Doctrinal Context: Analysing, Theorising, and Surpassing the Pandemic Crisis

Responding to the ongoing planetary crisis due to the spread of the COVID-19, The Cyprus Review opens the present call to all interested academics, scholars, and practitioners who are willing to contribute to the ongoing scientific debate about the foundational questions raised by the pandemic, the threats, challenges, and possibly opportunities created, and the doctrinal assessment of the systemic responses provided vis-à-vis this latest predicament.

Call for Papers The Cyprus Review (Spring 2019 issue)

The editorial team of The Cyprus Review is announcing a Call for Papers for a special section of the Spring 2019 issue which will be in honour of the Cypriot sociologist Caesar Mavratsas. He was one of the first Professors of Sociology at the Department of Social and Political Sciences in the newly established University of Cyprus. Deadline is 25 May 2019. Nicos Trimikliniotis is guest editing the section.
